I (stupidly) have the impression that the connection to each server is stored in its individual .rdp file, located somewhere in the Windows profile folder. After a long search and googling, I still cannot find any .rdp file.
It actually took me using SysInternal Process Monitor to find out mstsc.exe is writing to %My Documents%\Default.rdp !
So it is a simple matter of changing the values of resolution in the Display tab of the RDP client.

One place could be the "Default.rdp" file in My Documents in a local
