Location of Default.rdp file

I frequently use Microsoft Terminal Services Client to connect to a couple of Windows servers, and find it annoying that the screen resolution always defaults to a larger size than my local display resolution.

I (stupidly) have the impression that the connection to each server is stored in its individual .rdp file, located somewhere in the Windows profile folder. After a long search and googling, I still cannot find any .rdp file.

It actually took me using SysInternal Process Monitor to find out mstsc.exe is writing to %My Documents%\Default.rdp !

So it is a simple matter of changing the values of resolution in the Display tab of the RDP client.
