Microsoft Paint tricks

I use Microsoft Paint frequently to capture screen shots to send to my colleagues or to update documentation. I have a default "Temporary images" folder and I always prefer PNG for the simple reason of lossless compression. Here are some hacks that I come across as useful:

Set default "Save As" folder for Microsoft Paint

1. Start up Registry Editor
2. Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell Folders\
3. Change the value of "My Pictures" to the folder you like

Set default "Save As" format to PNG

I have not found the solution yet. Does anyone knows?
